Steps:

1. Prepare the Wall: Ensure the wall surface is clean, smooth, and dry. Remove any dirt, dust, or debris. Repair any holes or imperfections in the wall surface and allow them to dry completely.
2. Measure the Wall: Use a measuring tape to determine the height and width of the wall area you want to cover with wallpaper. Add a few extra inches to each measurement to allow for trimming.
3. Cut the Wallpaper: Using scissors or a utility knife, cut the self-adhesive roll wallpaper to the measured size, following the dimensions you determined in step 2.
4. Position the Wallpaper: Start at one corner of the wall and slowly peel away a few inches of the backing paper from the top of the wallpaper. Align the top edge of the wallpaper with the top of the wall, leaving a small overhang at the ceiling if necessary.
5. Apply the Wallpaper: Once the top edge is aligned, slowly press the exposed adhesive side of the wallpaper onto the wall, working your way down. Use a smoothing tool or squeegee to remove any air bubbles and ensure a smooth, even application.
6. Continue Applying: Slowly peel away the backing paper a few inches at a time and continue pressing the wallpaper onto the wall, smoothing out any wrinkles or air bubbles as you go. Repeat this process until the entire wall is covered.
7. Trim Excess: Once the wallpaper is fully applied, use scissors or a utility knife to trim any excess wallpaper from the edges and corners of the wall.
8. Finishing Touches: Go over the entire surface of the wallpaper with a smoothing tool or squeegee to ensure it is firmly adhered to the wall and free of air bubbles or wrinkles.
9. Allow to Set: Allow the wallpaper to set and adhere to the wall for the recommended time specified by the manufacturer before moving or repositioning furniture near the wall.
